Getting Something for Something

Concept Of The Day

Thomas Jefferson once said: “The worst day in a man’s life is when he sits down and begins thinking about how he can get something for nothing.”

You can’t do *nothing*, or nothing meaningful, and consistently get something, or much of anything. Worst of all is actually EXPECTING to get something FOR nothing.

But, most of the time you CAN do FAR LESS than you or others might think you have to do to get what really you want…if you find out how. There are always “secrets” to the process of successfully doing / getting / accomplishing something. Not only that, but there are always entirely different ways of going about achieving something than the way or ways you currently know of.

Still, if you DO know a solid way to go get what you want, don’t delude yourself into inaction, procrastination and time-wasting by going off seeking far and wide, long and hard for an easier way to get it/do it BEFORE you ever get going for real towards your desire. As Jim Rohn said: “Here's what I learned: Not to search for the exotic until you've discovered the basic.

Use what you ARE aware of. Just DO what you know – search for and find the further “secrets” that are out there WHILE you put in work NOW...

Peace and Victory,
